Situated as the hub of Central Oregon, Bend is home to over 100,000 residents. Hugging the Deschutes River, Bend derives its name from being dubbed “Farewell Bend” at one of the Deschutes’ most fordable parts of the river. The US Postal Service felt that name was too long, so they shortened it and Bend got its name. Currently residing in Bend you can find outdoor enthusiasts taking advantage of the quick access to Mt.
